Here are some of our most commonly asked questions

  • How soon before the wedding do alterations start?
    Alterations on your dress will begin 6-8 weeks before your wedding date.
  • When should I book alterations for my wedding dress?
    Please book as soon as you know your wedding date and the date your dress will be delivered to you.
  • How do I book in for alterations?
    Please call us with your name and wedding date (and/or travel date). We will be in contact when it is time to organise an appointment. Please see contact page for more details.
  • What should I bring to my first alterations appointment?
    Firstly, we can't wait to meet you! Please bring your wedding shoes and any undergarments you plan on wearing. If you have any concerns please contact us before your appointment.
  • How many fittings are there for a wedding dress alteration?
    Your bridal alterations will require 3 fittings in our studio in Dublin 8.
  • Do you offer alterations for bridesmaid dresses?
    Yes, we currently offer alterations on bridesmaid and mother of the bride. However, this will not be part of your wedding dress alterations cost and will need to be booked in a separate appointment in advance. Please contact us with your alteration requests for more information.
  • What is the cost of alterations?
    Cost of alterations will depend on the work needed done to your dress and if you require any custom accessories, veils, sleeves, etc. Please contact our team for more information.
  • Can you make a custom veil from my dress?
    Yes! We create custom veils, sleeves, accessories, hair pieces, etc. If you have a vision, contact us so we can bring your ideas to life.
  • Can I wear makeup to my fitting appointments?
    Please do not wear makeup or tanning products to any of your appointments. We will also provide hand sanitiser and hand wipes to avoid staining the dress or wedding garments.
  • What are your payment method options?
    We take payments by Card, Paypal, Revolut and Offline payments, such as cash.
